About a month ago, I began working as a content organizer for Frameweld. Although I had been a content organizer for another website before, working for Frameweld turned out to be a whole other ball game than what I had been doing prior, which is mainly due to the many different clients Frameweld serves.
So far, my job has been to watch video presentations of several of our clients and add transcriptions, something very similar to subtitles. I ensure that anything that has been said, or “content,” will be understandable to all future viewers and can be accessible via search as well.
The content originated is broad, ranging from an eye specialist creating video lectures about the most common eye diseases in children to an education specialist elaborating on how to improve learning in public schools.
Being a modern dancer in my second life, these topics generally would not catch my attention and I most definitely would not sit down to find out more. However, listening to the explanations and elaborations of each speaker, sitting through the videos of conferences and lectures ultimately has a special value of teaching me new things. It is delightful to know that I am the person who’s task it is to organize online what had been said during these presentations for other viewers to read and understand.
Not surprisingly, I find that working at Frameweld means I learn something new every day, and am looking forward to my growth alongside Frameweld.
