September 18, 2002 - Frameweld Adds New Features To Framewelder
Frameweld added a search functionality to its Framewelder software that will enable end-users to search for words and phrases in a narrator's speech. Users can click on the highlighted results and the presentation will jump to the appropriate time. Framewelder will also dynamically generate html pages with embedded multimedia files.
June 10, 2002 - Frameweld Announces Launch of Framewelder - Authoring Platform for Synchronized Multimedia Presentations
Framewelder is an authoring platform for synchronized multimedia presentations in SMIL (Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language). Developers can create compelling on-demand multimedia presentations that synchronize video, audio, embedded links, slide shows, closed-captioned text and bookmarks that enable the user to navigate the presentation. Developers can choose from a wide array of presentation templates that offer different combinations of multimedia elements, layouts and formats. The application is browser-based, easy-to-use and can be deployed as an ASP or purchased.
April 15, 2002 - WIDP Adopts Frameweld’s EventExtender Service for Regional Conference in Detroit, MI
Frameweld will provide WIDP with video clips of various speakers participating at the Regional Conference in Detroit, MI. Frameweld will edit and encode the video content to create clips in QuickTime and RealPlayer that can be viewed on-demand by NUL’s affiliates.

February 25, 2002 - Frameweld Announces Launch of Slidewelder
Slidewelder is a unique Windows-based desktop application that allows users to convert slides from a PowerPoint file to various output formats (GIF, PNG, JPEG, BMP, WMF, and TIFF), at any resolution. It allows generation of thumbnails, custom naming of slides, and output of any range or selection of slides. A powerful feature of Slidewelder is the ability to alter properties for certain image formats like GIF, JPEG and PNG. The tool also generates HTML and Flash files that use the converted images to create a navigable slide-show. Slidewelder slashes the time needed to export PowerPoint slides and adds unique functionality for the first time. Slidewelder can operate as a stand-alone application or in tandem with our Web-based authoring application for synchronized multimedia presentations - Framewelder.

Frameweld is starting development of a web-enabled version of its popular QueryMaster application. Indexed QueryMaster content can thus be delivered to an entire organization via an intranet or the Internet. Advanced security features will be included to prevent duplication and distribution.
