November 21, 2003 - Frameweld unveils its Document Management System, Docwelder, at the Whitney M. Young Center for Urban Leadership in New Orleans, LA

Frameweld unveiled its powerful document management system, Docwelder, customized for the National Urban League at the Whitney M. Young Center for Urban Leadership in New Orleans. Docwelder will enable Urban League affiliates to meet their reporting and compliance requirements in a more efficient, timely and low-cost manner. In its quest to have a paperless reporting procedure, the National Urban League turned to Frameweld for developing a scalable online reporting system. Developed using .NET framework, with a SQL server database, the system has powerful features ranging from document viewing to search and report generation. The event was attended by over 225 Urban League staff members from all over the country.

November 17, 2003 - Fannie Mae Foundation uses Frameweld's Synchronized Multimedia Format to Showcase the Seventh Annual James W. Rouse Lecture on the American City at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Frameweld's synchronized multimedia format was used to showcase the Seventh Annual James W. Rouse Lecture on the American City at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The event was sponsored by The Fannie Mae Foundation, The Enterprise Foundation, and the Brookings Institution Center on Urban and Metropolitan Policy. This year's featured speaker was Richard D. Baron, Chairman and CEO of McCormack Baron Salazar, Inc. in St. Louis, Missouri. Mr. Baron, who is one of the nation's leading urban developers, spoke about the importance of linking housing development with investment in schools and other neighborhood assets in order to transform distressed neighborhoods into revitalized communities of choice. The Rouse Lecture is dedicated to the memory of James W. Rouse, a man of vision who led urban revitalization efforts in cities nationwide.

October 27, 2003 - Frameweld to provide training and consulting to NYANA's microenterprise clients

Frameweld will provide customized computer training and technology consulting for NYANA's (New York Association of New Americans) microenterprise clients. The training will focus on assisting small businesses to apply computers, other hardware, the Internet, and software tools for improving various aspects of their businesses. Frameweld will also offer individualized technology consulting to a group of approximately ten of its microenterprise clients to help them with needs assessment, technology planning, hardware and software procurement, and developing tailored technology solutions.

May 26, 2003 - Frameweld Webcasts The 5th Annual International Fatherhood Conference from Orange County, CA

The National Center for Strategic Nonprofit Planning and Community Leadership organized the 5th Annual International Fatherhood Conference in Orange County, CA from May 26-28. Frameweld used RealPlayer technology to webcast the highlights of the event, enabling viewers to watch the clips using either dial-up or broadband connections. The webcast is available on-demand at www.urbancast.com. Frameweld also sponsored the CyberCafe at the event.

April 1, 2003 - Frameweld Presents Its Virtual Training Platform At The Youth Development Practitioners Institute (YDPI) In Dallas, TX

NPCL unveiled virtual training at the Youth Development Practitioners Institute (YDPI) in Dallas, TX, using an e-learning platform developed by Frameweld. The week-long program was attended by over 350 youth practitioners from all over the United States. Using synchronized multimedia, and open standards technology, Frameweld developed a learning management system that will be used to administer homework, quizzes, and award certificates for course credit.

February 7, 2003 - NUL To Use Docwelder For Document Management And Reporting

The National Urban League (NUL) has chosen Frameweld's Docwelder product as a document management solution that brings together reporting information for the national office and its 110 affiliates. Docwelder will be customized to fit the organization's workflow and integrated with other applications that facilitate affiliate reporting. Frameweld has worked closely with NUL for more than two years in the areas of custom software development, and rich media projects, among others.

January 28, 2003 - Frameweld Chosen To Develop Online Training Program for NPCL

The National Center for Strategic Nonprofit Planning and Community Leadership (NPCL) has chosen Frameweld as the sole provider and integrator for its online training initiative. Frameweld's synchronized multimedia format was chosen as the method of delivery for its online courses. Frameweld will also provide the learning management system that will be used to administer homework, quizzes, and award certificates for course credit. The system is based on an open source foundation, and all content uses open file formats based on open standards. The system will be used for NPCL's efforts in training youth development practitioners. The Youth Development Practitioners Institute is funded by the Department of Labor (DoL), which also provides regulatory oversight. Frameweld will serve as the sole subcontractor on this DoL project.
