December 1, 2004 - Frameweld produces wecasts for Fannie Mae Foundation's Leadership Programs Alumni Seminar

The Fannie Mae Foundation hosted its second annual Leadership Programs Alumni Seminar in conjunction with the 2004 Annual Housing Conference. More than 40 alumni from the James A. Johnson Community Fellowship Program and Senior Executives in State and Local Government Fellowship Program at the Kennedy School of Government attended this convening. In the afternoon, Dr. Michael Stegman of the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill moderated a discussion between Nic Retsinas, director of the Harvard University Joint Center for Housing Studies, and Kent W. Colton, co-authors of the book Opportunity and Progress: A Bipartisan Platform for a National Housing Policy. Frameweld captured footage at the event and created a video synchronized presentation, using Framewelder technology.

November 1, 2004 - Frameweld produces webcasts for Executive Leadership Council's (ELC) 16th Annual Recognition Dinner in Washington DC

Some 3,000 of the nation's top ranking corporate, academic, and public policy leaders and mid-level managers joined the Executive Leadership Council in Washington, DC October 14 and 15 to highlight the value of inclusive leadership in global competitiveness and to honor the role of the landmark Brown v. Board of Education Supreme Court decision in opening doors of opportunity for all. The leadership events opened October 14 with some 40 Fortune 500 CEOs and senior leaders attending ELC's 4th Annual CEOs Diversity Summit and reached its apex that evening at the 16th Annual Recognition Awards Dinner honoring Fannie Mae Chairman and CEO Franklin Raines with the Achievement Award; General Electric, represented by Chairman and CEO Jeffrey Immelt, with the Corporate Award; and ELC member Darwin Davis with the Alvaro Martins Heritage Award. Frameweld's video production team captured footage from the events and webcast the video clips on the ELC website.

September 21, 2004 - Frameweld produces multimedia CDROM for distance learning for the Africa-America Institute to train African educators

As part of the Africa America Institute's AFTECH program, Frameweld worked closely with Florida A&M University (FAMU) to place their 11-day "Parent-Teacher Associations Workshop" on CDROM. Frameweld produced video of the workshop instructors at FAMU's campus in Tallahasse, Florida. Video from instructors at University of Cape Coast in Ghana was also included in the CD. The feature-rich CDROM contains synchronized multimedia, videos, handouts, homeworks, and reading material, presented in an easy-to-use and navigable framework developed by Frameweld's instructional design team.

August 15, 2004 - Red Hat selects Frameweld to develop and host e-learning for sales and partner training

Frameweld achieved a new milestone when Red Hat, the world's leading open source and Linux provider, chose Frameweld to develop and host e-learning for training some of its key partners. Frameweld will showcase presentations of industry leaders in its rich media multimedia format. Further, Frameweld will showcase these presentations in seven foreign languages including French, German, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Korean and Japanese. July 28, 2004 - Frameweld develops a webcast for the 2004 Maxwell Awards of Excellence held by the Fannie Mae Foundation

The Fannie Mae Foundation selected Frameweld to develop a webcast for the 2004 Maxwell Awards of Excellence in Washington DC. This year's Maxwell Award special category, "Innovative Partnerships," recognized three projects that engaged organizations and institutions not traditionally involved in housing to build on and leverage community assets. Frameweld was involved in all phases of the webcast including video production, editing, web development and hosting.

July 12, 2004 - Frameweld develops a website for the Executive Leadership Council (ELC)

ELC selected Frameweld to develop a website for its ProMosaic II Diversity/Inclusion Assessment Tool. The website is www.promosaic.org. The tool focuses on those activities proven effective in making diversity and inclusion initiatives successful. The ProMosaic™ II Diversity/Inclusion Assessment Tool is comprehensive, and focuses on four components critical for success in diversity and inclusion efforts: (1) Leadership and Business Rationale, (2) Strategic Planning, (3) Execution, and (4) Results and Measurements. Each critical success factor is defined, and specific activities are addressed as part of the assessment. Each linked component plays a critical role in your organization's overall diversity and inclusion initiative.

May 11, 2004 - Frameweld develops a feature-rich CDROM of a Science and Mathematics Workshop developed by the University of Iowa's Science Education Center

April 23, 2004 - Frameweld to develop distance learning platform for the Africa America Institute.

The Africa America Institute (AAI) selected Frameweld to develop a distance learning platform to train educators in several African countries as part of its AFTECH program. The African Technologies for Education and Workforce Development (AFTECH) Initiative is a strategic effort to accelerate workforce development in Africa with the goal of increasing Africa’s competitiveness in the global economy. Towards this end, Frameweld will be developing CDROMs, online discussion forums and websites, that will enable Universities in the Unites States deliver training to African colleges in a virtual environment. Frameweld will work closely with AAI and partner Universities to develop the concept, instructional design, architecture and content for the online workshops and courses.

April 7, 2004 - NCCED selects Frameweld to develop a portal for its Reentry and Community Economic Development initiative.

The National Congress for Community Economic Development (NCCED) selected Frameweld to design and develop a web portal for its "Forum for Reentry and Community Economic Development," a project for ex-offenders. The portal will be used to conduct research and evaluation, collect and disseminate information, provide training and technical assistance, and increase awareness among the many disciplines and service systems that come in contact with ex-offenders. The Forum’s ultimate goal is to equip communities with the ability to administer quality services to ex-offenders thereby creating better outcomes for the ex-offender, thereby sustaining the economic growth of his or her community. March 29, 2004 - Frameweld launches proprietary synchronized multimedia platform to deliver rich media presentations in Macromedia's Flash player.

Frameweld today launched its proprietary synchronized multimedia platform. Using this platform, Frameweld can deliver rich media presentations that can be viewed in the Flash player. In addition to features like bookmarks, text, and slide synchronization, the new platform avails many of the rich features offered by Macromedia Flash MX. The much improved quality of video, synchronization, and playback of elements, coupled with the large installed base of the Flash player makes Frameweld's platform superior and deployable to a larger audience spanning Windows, Macintosh and Linux users. According to Macromedia, 98% of users have the Flash player installed on their computers.

March 23, 2004 - The Fannie Mae Foundation selects Frameweld to develop rich media presentations for its seminars.

The Fannie Mae Foundation selected Frameweld to develop rich media synchronized presentations for its seminars and conferences. Using its feature-rich synchronized rich media platform, Frameweld will showcase presentations from noted speakers and consultants. The presentations will be featured on Fannie Mae Foundation's website: www.fanniemaefoundation.org.

March 8, 2004 - Frameweld's Video Production Unit Records and Broadcasts NAACP's Education Summit: Brown 50 Years and Beyond on March 4-5, 2004 in Washington DC

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) held the education summit "Brown 50 Years and Beyond" on March 4-5, 2004 in Washington DC. The conference is one of several dedicated to commemorating the landmark Supreme Court decision that ended legal segregation in public schools on May 17, 1954. Senator Hillary Clinton delivered the keynote address at the Teacher Recognition Dinner on Thursday, March 4. The conference was attended by teachers, administrators, researchers, and education activists involved with public schools systems nationwide. John Jackson, NAACP's Education Director said, "The purpose of this summit is to present, analyze and develop strategies to reduce the racial and socio-economic disparities in the access to highly qualified teachers that contribute to the achievement gap that still exists 50 years after Brown."

January 12, 2004 - NCATE selects Frameweld as its distance learning provider for the 'Reading First Teacher Preparation Network'

The U.S. Department of Education has awarded NCATE a grant to support implementation of scientifically-based reading research and instruction at primarily minority-serving institutions, with the goal of raising P-12 student achievement in reading. Using Frameweld's production services and sychronized multimedia platform, NCATE will be able to deliver lectures on-demand to deans, Presidents and faculty in Universities all over the country.
