Users can search for words, phrases, and terms and receive highly accurate results organized by relevance. Search terms are highlighted in yellow on the results page which lists as many as ten presentations with an option to view more when they are available. Results are categorized based on where they are found in the content and can be refined by title and description, captions, slides, tags, and chapter names. Chapters are created at significant points in each presentation to provide the user with an advanced navigation option. All video still images and slide images are linked to their respective time codes in each presentation allowing the results to be displayed with the video title and corresponding image and time. Users can quickly and accurately jump to the point in the video that has the exact information they need.
The global search tool modernizes findability in the world of video. Not only is the video at hand, but it is the exact moment where the information is waiting to be retrieved that allows Frameweld to accommodate the needs of users with disabilities and prepares us for the future of search technology.
