- Framewelder
Multimedia presentations are an exciting new way for organizations to communicate with internal and external audiences. Since they can be viewed remotely, either via the Internet or on CD-ROM, they greatly reduce the costs associated with employee training and communication -- travel, lodging and time away from work. Studies show that user interest and retention of information from multimedia presentations is higher than instruction in a classroom setting or through written materials, making it a more compelling medium for disseminating information and training. Framewelder is an intuitive and easy to use application that enables users with little or no multimedia authoring experience to create compelling synchronized multimedia presentations.
Framewelder uses a web-based interface that enables users to create synchronized rich media presentations. Developed using technology based on open standards, Framewelder enables the assembly and synchronization of presentations including several media elements which can include - video, audio, slides, closed caption text, images, bookmarks and embedded links. The dynamically generated presentation files are XML-driven. Because Framewelder is a web-based application, users can access it from anywhere to assemble their presentations.
