QueryMaster heralds a new concept in document collaboration and browsing. The most recent implementation of QueryMaster was done for the landmark No Child Left Behind legislation, called NCLB QueryMaster.

NCLB QueryMaster includes the full No Child Left Behind legislation, complete regulations and guidance documents. The table of contents allow easy navigation to the documents. The documents are fully cross-referenced with internal links to allow you to navigate to the exact point in the legislation.

Expert Knowledge
NCLB QueryMaster captures the important relationships between documents and portions of documents. If, for example, you are looking at a particular section in NCLB and there is relevant information about that section in a regulation, you need to know that! These document relationships provide you with pathways for learning about NCLB. We also cover the most important topics in NCLB. Hundreds of topics lead to definitions and the documents that are most relevant to the subject, as well as hundreds of handpicked resources on the Web. NCLB Topics are a great starting point for exploring subjects in NCLB. NCLB QueryMaster places information and collaboration contextually in documents. Content can be attached to any document or any selection in a document in order to place it where it is most relevant. Document relationships and web resources are presented side by side with the document content. NCLB QueryMaster enables easy collaboration. Post comments and others respond, building discussion threads similar to discussion boards and blogs. Add your private notes and information in the same way. You can manage, edit, delete, print and sort your notes to organize your research, prepare for presentations, and more.

Creating selections is easy. To add a note or comments to a selection in a document, you simply choose the first and last word to define your selection. The text is highlighted, and you add your content right under the selection. When information and collaboration are in context you can tell at a glance where hotspots of activity and information are found in the document.
