Slidewelder is a unique Windows-based desktop application that allows users to convert slides from a PowerPoint file to various output formats (GIF, PNG, JPEG, BMP, WMF, and TIFF), at any resolution. It allows generation of thumbnails, custom naming of slides, and output of any range or selection of slides. A powerful feature of Slidewelder is the ability to alter properties for certain image formats like GIF, JPEG and PNG. The tool also generates HTML and Flash files that use the converted images to create a navigable slide-show.
