Core Management
Ashish Shah
Co-founder and Senior Partner, Ashish Shah, has over 10 years of technology-related experience. He has successfully implemented software and multimedia projects with several non-profit and government clients, and some Fortune 500 companies. Ashish's project management skills and execution abilities are valuable assets in implementing projects that involve multi-tasking and complex methodologies. Before co-founding Frameweld, Ashish worked in Business Development for a start-up in the video syndication business. Prior to that, Ashish worked in Equity Research at Prudential Securities and Merrill Lynch. He graduated with Honors from the University of Bombay in 1994 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, and a Minor in Material Science. He received an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University in 1996.
Sam Cartsos
Co-founder of Frameweld LLC, Sam Cartsos has significant experience in Internet and video communications technology. He leads Frameweld’s Sales and Business Development efforts. Prior to Frameweld, Sam worked at VastVideo, Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs and co-founded a consulting firm for Web development and design working with clients in the US and Europe. Other professional experience also includes work in the U.S. Senate, Parliamentarians for Global Action, the Foinix Group in Athens, Greece, and the New York Association for New Americans. Sam has traveled and worked around the world. He earned his B.A. from the University of Michigan and a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University.
Ryan Mahoney
Chief Technical Officer of Frameweld LLC, Ryan leads the technology development and consulting division of Frameweld. He has almost 10 years of experience working with web based technologies and SQL databases. Having worked with a variety of software and hardware platforms — including those from Microsoft and Oracle — he has selected the open source platform as the clear winner and basis for our projects here at Frameweld. He has built tools to improve software project management as well as a framework for generating intranets and content management systems. He studied fine art at The Cooper Union and Fashion Institute of Technology, both in New York City.
Jim Folliard
As Production Manager, Jim Folliard is instrumental for successful video and audio production. He has worked with several corporate, entertainment, associations and government clients. Having worked in various roles from camera person to editor, Jim has an in-depth knowledge of the production business, and has a wide range of talent contacts in the Washington DC area. From supervising the logistics of video shoots and selecting talent to preparing speakers before a shoot, Jim handles a wide array of tasks and activities that are involved during a production. He has a B.A. from Radford University, VA.
